ACE is the only US consulting firm that provides expertise on the energy exchange program for Mexican maquiladoras in both the Baja Norte region and the interior of Mexico. From 2011 to 2013, ACE was responsible for most of the permitting for maquiladoras to import energy from the United States. ACE also created a competitive platform for maquilas to bid out their energy procurement from suppliers during Mexico’s energy monopoly.
