Chihuahua (CHI) is situated in a prime geographical location due to its proximity to New Mexico and Texas. Both US states are providers of natural gas and solar energy, and as such, Chihuahua’s opportunities in the energy sector are the same. Mexico, as a party to the Paris Agreement, committed to reducing emissions from the industrial sector by generating 35% of its energy from clean sources by 2024. By 2030, the goal is a 43% reduction in emissions.
Atlas Clean Energy (ACE) began as a consultancy for California businesses and their offshore manufacturing sites (maquiladoras) across the US–Mexico border.
