Self-Generation Incentive Programs

The CPUC’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) provides incentives to support existing, new, and emerging distributed energy resources. SGIP provides rebates for most or all solar battery installation in California for qualifying systems installed on the customer’s side of the utility meter. Qualifying technologies include wind turbines, waste-heat-to-power technologies, pressure reduction turbines, internal combustion engines, microturbines, gas turbines, fuel cells, and advanced energy storage systems. Feasibility Studies

ACE can conduct a high-level forensic study on your facility to determine if your site or multi-site qualifies for NEM 3.0 or SGIP. ACE engineering experts will review site interval data and utility bills and conduct an in-depth operational analysis of your site to determine savings. If applicable, the data will be based on analytical results, contingent on the current California market energy rates, commodity pricing, and curtailment probability.

Utility-Scale Projects

The Energy Commission, CPUC, and California ISO are working together to implement rules and programs to capture better the full range of benefits provided by energy storage systems. Key Legislation and Milestones California has the most significant energy storage market in the United States. ACE can support utility-scale projects with its high-level network of skilled engineers and experts.
